Supporting You!

Supporting You!  Helping victims of sexual assault.

What we do.

Supporting You is a resource available to students who have been, or are currently victims, of sexual assault.  This website aims to educates youth about appropriate intimate behaviour, self soothing techniques and accessible resources within Adelaide.  Our aim is to create a safe, secure and supportive environment where teenagers can learn about themselves, what is happening to them and that there is help out there.  We want to help you take back your life, build resilience and self-efficiency.  Remember, you are not alone!

What is Sexual Assault?

Sexual Assault is a crime!  It can happen to anyone no matter what age, gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity or socioeconomic status.  Sexual assault occurs when someone forces you to partake in sexual behaviour or touches you inappropriately without your consent.  You do not have to have sexual intercourse with someone for it to be sexual assault; it includes anything from a person touching your genitals or even fondling themselves in your presence without your consent.
